Old Pub Lokus in Lysekil has changed shape and now the new Villa Solviken has opened its doors. The restaurant profiles Jens Hallberg & Andreas Upper have taken over the 100-year-old hotel, which was originally a salt cellar. The name Villa Solviken became obvious when the previous owner told the story about the property. Over 100 years ago, when the railway was going to be laid, they had to fill it with lots of stone because there was a bay that went right near the house, which was then called Solviken. The hotel is very centrally located in Lysekil. It has 13 bright, nice rooms, and is only 1 km from Havets Hus. Guests traveling by car can also use the on-site parking. It takes about 16 minutes to get to Vikarvet's museum on foot. Among the nearby attractions is the Stångehuvud Nature Reserve. The nearest bus stop is Bergmansliden which is only 500 meters away. The restaurant has been given a facelift and a large kitchen island has been placed where the bar counter used to be.
